So Bianca and I rented two movies this weekend from Redbox. The first movie was called "Hereafter". It is Matt Damon and so I thought it would rock. It was kinda weird. Bianca got scared so she didn't want to watch it anymore. I finished it myself and was just waiting for the good part, but it just never got to what I wanted it to be. So I guess what I am saying is it is not worth watching.
The second movie we got for free using a promo code (DVDONME). We rented "Marlee and Me". I had no clue what the movie was about and I had no clue that it was with Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston. It was a good movie! The only bad thing about it, and sorry if I ruin the movie for you. If you haven't seen it and don't want to know what happens, then stop reading and skip to the next paragraph. Anyways, the bad part of the movie is that it is about a couple that buys a dog, which was the runt just like my dog was. They fall in love with the dog and then at the end the dog gets sick and dies. The same thing happened to my dog 6 years ago this week. It made me sad, because unlike Marlee in the movie, my dog was the best dog ever. She was my best buddy!!
So this blog is in memory of the best dog in the world, Kali!! I will never have a dog that can replace Kali or be as good as she was! Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of my cute little dog on my computer, so I will have to try and find some and post them later.
Kali was a great dog. When I was young I would take her on walks, or she would take me on walks. I strapped on my roller blades and she would take me around the neighborhood. Periodically she would stop to mark her spot. It was in the same place every time, which is weird for a girl to do. We would cuddle on the couch and dance on the deck. She was an avid rock eater. She would spend all day licking her rocks. She was fast, small and a protector. A huge Great Dame came running over barking at me and Kali. It was scary, but then Kali turned and barked once and the Great Dame whimpered away. No one messed with my dog and surprisingly enough she never bit anyone on purpose. She made 13 years of my life super great!!
Aww, I miss Kali. :(
